Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

I've gathered from other people that it is o.k. to vent on this blog thing once in a while, so I will take advantage of that for the time being. I'm so sick of stupid people and people that think they are above everyone else. Lucky me! I get to deal with at least one every day. We just had a customer request a transfer. I found out it was because of a mistake I made, among other things (a couple of which had to do with me). When they called this morning I realized that it was my mistake, I apologized and fixed the problem in 2 seconds (yes, literally 2 seconds). An hour later another local office calls saying these people requested that their policies be moved to their office. My boss called them later and found out that they weren't happy with the decline in customer service since a certain employee left a couple years ago or how my desk was a mess one time they came in and some other crap. I am so sorry I wasn't blessed with perfect genes like they were. I hope they send me a copy of their book on perfection so I can be the first to read it. I'm so sorry that they are the 1st to complain about me in the 2 1/2 years I've been here. I do nothing but try to help people here and I am nice to everyone I talk to (not just because I have to, but I generally try to be nice to everyone)(unless any of you disagree, it's time you bring that to the table and we'll just have to throw down!). Seriously, some people are just rude. I could see if I did something blatantly rude or was disrespectful or if I did something that hurt them financially. Nope, none of the above. But I'm just an insurance guy so look down on me and call it the end of the world if I don't kiss your feet and hold you up on a pedestal. Oh, and for some of you other people, it's not my fault if your policy cancels because you don't pay your bill and it's not my fault if your insurance goes up because you got a ticket or caused an accident! But don't you worry, I'll still smile, take the blame and let you be on your merry way. I just need to remind myself, I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and gosh darn-it, people like me.

People suck. Sorry you have to deal with the crazy anal people in the world. And for the record I definitely think you're a nice guy. The quote on your blog from the Office made my day :)
