The end of the Primary Dynasty

Well, after almost 5 years in primary I have been released.  I cannot believe how long I have been with the wee ones.  I spent 2 years in Utah in the primary teaching and then when we moved back to California, I spent 3 years in the presidency.  I really loved it and will miss it a lot.  I am so glad that I had the chance to learn the primary songs, because I never went to primary as a kid.

As sad as I am to leave, I am happy and excited for my new calling.  I am the Mia Maids teacher.  I can't believe that I am that old.  Weird.  I love the girls that are that age and can't wait to have FUN and play with these girls.  I am a little bit worried about being responsible for their spiritual welfare!  At least it will force me to prepare my lessons in a more serious way on Sundays.

I'm secretly ? envious of your new calling--get me out of Primary. Just kidding! You should have no problem maintaining that adult teacher/student learner relationship with your day job being basically the same. It's simply more spiritually uplifting, right? Have fun and choose the right :)
