Today has not started off well. Oh, this is Darren blogging again (Tisha said I had to say it was me blogging so people wouldn't think it was her blogging and get all confused like). Anyway, and I must start by saying this was not done on purpose, here's how the day started. Turk was on crack or something because Tish had to go out with him a few times before normal waking time. He proceeded to tangle himself and refused to go to the bathroom until the 3rd time out. So, he decided he wanted to whine and play when Tish brought him back to bed. Lucky me got to wake up before my alarm. (Yeah, all you moms and dads that get up and are saying big deal, it is to me because I'm not a dad on that schedule yet, so blah!) Anyway, before Tish left for work she came back, again, before my alarm, and said there was a dead cat on our door step. Yes, I don't like cats, but I didn't know this one and I thought it would just go away after whining on our door step last night. No, I'm not mean, I have dogs that would go nuts trying to get it. So, I ignored it. We didn't want it to die, but it did, so before I left for work I put it in a box and left it on the porch. I was going to call animal control but it's snowing like crazy so that's out. That's number one. Number two, my car decided to follow the cat's lead and died on me about 1/4 mile from work. It's freezing and snowing today and I didn't think I'd have to walk in the snow, so I was a wee bit cold walking the rest of the way to work. What makes this worse is that the car died Saturday so I paid a butt load of money (because BMW, even if it's old and crappy, still costs bucks to fix) for a new battery. It lasted a whole two days. It got towed to our mechanic so we'll find out the damage later. Now, I would consider the snow number three and I hope it is. I'm not sure I want to move the rest of the day so something else doesn't die. So, I hope the rest of you have a lovely day.

You forgot to mention that I think I have an ear infection! (Tish)
Let's hope tomorrow is better!
And Santana ended up with the Mets instead of the Yankees.
How's your ear? That's funny that the cat died on your porch. :) Monday night was a blast. Thanks for inviting us!
See, I'd count the dead cat as a good thing. One less in the world...
I agree. I also think Turk killed the cat. That's why he was acting so weird.
I actually killed the cat.
