Hail to the Prophet

Beloved Church President Gordon B. Hinckley, who led The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through 12 years of global expansion, has died at the age of 97. President Hinckley was the 15th president in the 177-year history of the Church and had served as its president since March 12, 1995. (lds.org). I am deeply saddened by this loss, and am grateful to have been led by such a wonderful man since I joined the church in 1999. I am also grateful for the knowledge that since Adam, we have been blessed with Prophets that are foreordained by God to help guide us back to live in His presence. I have a strong testimony of modern day prophets and am again grateful for President Hinckley's service.
