Ahhh!
I delivered Tan Man at 36 weeks....
Sooo...
I might only have 6 weeks to go. Hallelujah, and YIKES!
Even if I go full term (which we all hope so!) that is only 10 weeks.
I won't lie. I am SCARED. I remEMber how much it hurts, and how much the recovery sucks, and how much it changes your life, and how much sleep you DON'T get, and how much you want to eat Jack in the Box and can't, and how awful it is to nurse like 15 hours a day, and to be super fat and flabby and not fit into your jeans, and how hard it is...
I am also excited for all the wonderful parts though!!!!
But more scared. Hahahaa.
THIRTY WEEKS. SO CRAZY!
Things I want/need:
1. A carseat for Tanner----WAIT----NOPE! My super amazing parents helped us buy one, because Tanner had COMPLETELY outgrown the other, and yet, I was STILL using it...(my mom made me meet her at future generations and called it a carseat 'intervention.' I wasn't allowed to leave the store without a carseat. hahah.) Also--since the new carseat is GIGANTIC, and we are constantly switching cars and the carseat--my very sweet cousin is giving us her old one so that we have one in each car! YIPEE! That is a working Mom's dream come true.
2. A port-a-crib. Because I will have two napping children that have to go to a sitter's a few days a week, I need antoher one.
3. My Breast Friend nursing pillow. I HATED my boppy. It just wasn't enough support for my back and for my 5 lb. baby.
4. Diapers
5. Room storage, like a closet hanger thingy that I can put stuff in... etc.
6. ????????? Pink stuff if it is a girl
7. Batteries for my swing
8. A hamper for both kids rooms
9. maybe another bebe pod (bumbo) seat since Tanner still uses his ALL THE TIME!
10. ???
If you spot any GREAT deals on this junk, can you let me know, THANKS!

I really hope you have this baby before we leave. Selfish.
Also, here are two things you can use because I won't be having a baby for at least another 18-24 months.
1. Your caterpillar book. Yes, you can have your own caterpillar book back.
2.My 'My Brest Friend' pillow. Haven't used it in 3 months and was wondering what to do with it. I LOVED IT. The next time we come up to Sac (March 31st?) I'll bring those things for you to use. Anything else you need?
hey hot mama - i hear you honey on all the scared to have two, remembering the pain/recovery/sleeplessness, flab etc. - but here's the good news: it's so so much easier the second time around...well, not particularly because it's tons easier (obviously juggling the two kids is tougher) but because you know what to expect, etc. it just makes it easier, at least that's how it's been for me. i'm more confident this time, not so worried about every little thing. i know that the tough phases will pass, there's a light at the end of the tunnel, you know what i mean? being tired is a bummer but for some reason it has just been much more managable this time around. i had such a huge learning curve the first time, we were so cluelss, that it was tough, but this time...easier! i also did some reading in the "baby whisperer solves all your problems" BEFORE the babe came this time (waiting til atticus was like 6 weeks old before reading anything last time) and her strategies have made it easier to help beckett be a better sleeper earlier on than atticus was. anyway - i wish i were there to help you...so sad we live so far apart and we can't do this mothering business together. and yes, the breast friend blows the boppy out of the water. and dude, can't believe your drama with the music class - tell all those lame-ohs to go jump off a cliff! i wish my boys and i could attend your music class...especially for a mere 35 buckaroos! you're the coolest, don't let the man get you down!
What do you mean "to be super fat and flabby and not fit into your jeans" this doesn't happen after the baby it starts the minute you find out your pregnant...it sucks!!!!
