STILL ALIVE

OK- well, not that any of you were worried-but-yes, I- Tisha, am still alive and blogging. It has been a while because I have been so busy. I took the kids to science camp and had a blast. Then I went on spring break, and tore apart our house. I ended up giving away FOUR giant trash bags full of stuff. I am so proud of myself. EVEN 5 PAIRS OF SHOES. I know, I know-that is amazing. I am such a pack rat, and I hate that about myself. The house is a complete mess though. You should see the guest room now! It looks nothing like what I posted a few weeks ago. Darren tore up the carpet to work on the hard wood, and thus-we have a mattress in the hallway, a box spring in our living room and everything else in the front bathroom. YIKES! Otherwise, life is good. I found out this week that my job is safe for next year, despite the governator's ridiculous budget cuts. However, four people below me are being cut. So sad. Life as a teacher. Here are a few pictures of us at camp. The one of me and a student on the beach is classic, because I am consoling her over a fight that she was having with her best friend at camp (my co-worker took the picture, I didn't know that she was going to take a picture.) I say classic because I do believe that it was 6th grade science camp that ended it all for Jennifer Headley and I. Didn't all girls fight at science camp!?

I think I look fat in this picture--thanks jacket, or ---girl scout cookies-not sure who to really blame!
We spent one day at the beach--it was FREEZING!
This one was just so cute, that I threw it on here.  Isn't he so cute!  His eyes look creepy-but otherwise.

Let's face it... there's really nothing flattering about wearing layers with a big frumpy jacket on top during the frigid winter months!!! Alas, there's no escaping it... it makes me wonder about the girls that go around wearing tank tops and such the whole year round! They can't be human!
So, don't worry! You could never look fat even if you tried!
