OK- I have so much to say, and so little time. But for now, you will have to wait on hearing about our wonderful trip, and the 1200 pictures that we took, and instead listen to my horrid homecoming story. When D and I flew to France, the plane was so nice and had such a variety of movies and TV shows that you could choose from, we didn't need the 15 people magazines, 2 books, DVD player and iPod that we came prepared with--so on the way back we packed all of those things away as to not have cumbersome unnecessary items as carry ons. Unfortunately, our plane was the from the Wright brothers, it was so old! The TV's didn't really work, but to play one movie-which was not good-and I had to sit next to a very stinky Frenchman. Who wore pants so low that every time he leaned forward (to get his Maxim magazine-gross) he showed 6 1/2 inches of HAIRY butt crack. I am not kidding-HAIRY. Really hairy--long hairs, not just short ones. Sorry to be so graphic, but you really have to get the picture. Anyway--it was a long flight, and I couldn't sleep, and we were directly downwind of the bathrooms-gross. (by the way- all of this complaining is ridiculous, because I had such a great time in France-but it is real, and kinda funny). Well--after finally getting home, we learned that we had a snowy, powerless, 40 degree home that we could not stay in, so off to Mom and Dad's to sleep on the air mattress. It has now been 4 nights and counting at their house--which to make matters worse, their washing machine broke--so we have not done any laundry! PG&E tells us that we more than likely wont have power until this weekend. AHHHHHHHH! I just want to sleep in my own bed! It has been weeks! I also don't really have a car, because there is still snow everywhere. Anyway-- it was all very much worth it, and I am looking forward to getting our pictures onto the computer and sharing some of those with you.

Yay you're back!! Can't wait to hear all about it.
Okay I'm sad we didn't get to see each other while we were on the same continent but I'm so excited to hear about what you did! I'm sure you had a fabulous time. SO hurry up and post! It's not like your a super busy best teacher of the year without any time or anything... ;)I can't wait to hear about your favorite things and get some suggestions on what to do in France. Love ya Tish.
Bummer about the electricity outage and the less than desirable plane passenger, but it makes for one fun adventure story!
