why I love MY job...

These are pictures of the infamous Wendy Goforth. Wendy was Tawny, Taryn and Mikey's 6th grade teacher, and my idol. When I was in high school, I went as a 6th grade science camp counselor TWICE because I loved working with Wendy. Now, because I am so lucky, I get to work with her everyday.

The reason I blog today, is because I have to tell the story of one of the funniest days at work. A few months back, I SHAMFULLY, allowed Wendy to pull a prank on me.

It all started when I had stepped next door for TWO SECONDS to check on a few students working in the learning center. My class is wonderful and very well behaved and so I felt fine stepping through the door in the wall for a moment. The problem was, when I turned back into my classroom, MY CLASS WAS GONE! I mean, not a student to be found anywhere. I immediatly thought, 'is it recess or did I miss something?' Then I began to think of a million other "logical" reasons why my class would dissappear. To make a long story short, I literally ran all over the school looking for the kids. When I couldn't find them ANYWHERE, I went barging into her classrooom, in a PANIC, and whispered, "I lost my class" she put a smirk on her face and said "you what?" I then realized that she had something to do with this mysterious occurance, and began to look around her classroom. It was at that point I saw a foot sticking out from underneath her students desks. I grabbed the foot and an erruption of laughter hit me like a ton of bricks.

The pictures that you see are from antoher prank that we spent the last hour of the day on, partially getting Wendy back for her prank on me. This is a really funny story, it has to do with a video tape, a student "kidnapping" from her class, and a protest. The kids with signs are my class, and those laying on the floor in front of her classroom door also belong to me. It was quite hilarious and makes my life so fun. I guess you could say that I may have been a little off track that day, and the kids didn't learn much, but we sure had fun!

Notice the videotape hanging from the ceiling...

Seriously, how do I add you to my site? I'm not blog-friendly. Stalker boy is not so stalker, but now there's another kid in the ward that I'll tell you about when I come home. I'm home on Wednesday yippee!
