Since you've been gone...

After nursing Darren back to health last week, we were ready to have some fun! We sure did too, for my birthday I got two tickets to see Kelly Clarkson in concert and it was so fun! Darren went just to appease me and he ended up having a really good time, sorry D, I spilled the beans. She sounds in person, just like she does on her CD's, and D thinks that she is pretty hot. I kinda feel bad that I never voted for her on American Idol...oh well. It was great though, we sat very close and had the VIP experience. We went to see No Doubt and Blink last year at the same place, but I liked this a little better---Darren would not agree. We were very close to actually touching her but didn't quite reach. She did end up wearing the same Hawaiian Lei that I had worn moments before. I guess that is my new claim to fame. I was wearing it and then it was taken back and given to her to put on. We didn't bring our camera, so no fun pictures from the concert, but I did include this picture of her so that you were enticed to read this blog. Ha! It worked. Anyway, when her new CD comes out, I suggest that you buy it because she sang about 5 songs from it and it is beautiful. We both liked the new songs. Thanks to Ron for the tickets...We look forward to the next concert!
