Handle Deez with Care

Poor, poor darren..."I told you so" just does not feel as good as I thought it would. I guess watching your husband groan in pure agony on the emergency room floor at 3:00 a.m. is not the setting for an "I told you so." For years I have been telling D that if he doesn't watch the soda and junk intake-he would have kidney stones. Low and behold, at 3:00 a.m. we checked into the local E.R. and stayed until 7:30 a.m. They pumped D full of narcotics and fluids through an I.V., sent him through a CT scan and drained our savings in order to tell him "Take Vicoden and try to pass it at home." It was a long, long day. He was in a lot of pain and I felt so bad for him. It runs in his family history and has been a possiblity for a while. The Dr. did say that he was young to have them, but it makes sense. The worst part, at least for a bystander, was the excrutiating-projectile-bile and liquidy vomit that was restlessly pouring out of him. He couldn't hold liquids down to save his life. Which happens to be what is the worst for you, because you have to drink a lot in order to be able to pee it out! Yes, he had to pee them out. Yuck, Ouch, Ugh. Let me just say that after all of the moaning, groaning and near tears-we should have had a cute baby to take home. Instead we have two sand like grains in a pee filter to be analyzed. Poor Darren. By the way- he was not happy that I was taking pictures, but I couldn't help it.
