My crazy life...

Well, I am trying to be better at posting on the blog...but with my crazy life I don't find much time. I am so grateful to be so blessed in my life and I really CHOOSE to be as busy as I am, but sometimes I feel overwhelmed with what I have going on.

We have had a great week thus far...and we have an exciting weekend to look forward to. Darren and I have been playing parents to Mikey and Taryn this week, because my parents are in Vegas. Getting them up for seminary and making a full breakfast, packing their little lunches and writing a cute note to put inside---HAHAHAH-yeah right. At about 4:50 a.m. I listen to make sure that they are awake and getting ready, then I wait to hear the door shut around 5:45. They can make their own freaking breakfast and lunch-they are 14 and 17 years old....I do pick them up from school and Darren does make them dinner though. It has been nice having only four of us home though. We are getting very cramped inside our house.

Speaking of houses, we went hunting again last weekend since the offer we put in on the Banner Mountain house didn't get accepted. We are still working on the cottage, but as we get closer to being finished, we are also closer to being ready to buy a house. Here are a few photos of the ones that we looked at...

This one is my favorite because of its location-it is on Banner, and we would stay in the same ward

This one is nice because it is on 5 acres off of Rattlesnake--not in our ward, but really close to where I work

Darren liked this one because it was new, and nice and we wouldn't have to work on it--I don't like it though

We got our Puppy last night, and still don't have a name for him. OH MY GOSH he is so cute. I can't get over it. He started out sleeping in his crate, but after I had to get up and take him outside to "the facilities" at 3:00 a.m., I put him in bed with us. He was such a snuggler-oh, I AM IN LOVE. We are leaning towards "Turk" for his name. From Scrubs (Turkleton, the black doctor). I'm not sure though, we'll see how he acts. He did great at the Vet yesterday and seems to be healthy as a horse.

Mark Hamberlin comes in from France tomorrow, so we will be driving down to see him in the bay area. We havn't seen him in over a year, or maybe longer????? That will be really nice.

Work has been great. I have been having some fun with the kids lately. We did a lesson in math on M&M's. Needless to say, they really enjoyed it. Here are a few pictures of the kids having fun with the project. (Yes, I made them wash their hands before we started.)

cute little rug rat I must say...for a dog hater, I have to admit even my cold black heart was softened a measure.
