I can honestly report that I am missing BYU right now. I don't want to be there, but I would like to go back in time periodically and do all of the fun Provoish things that I used to do. I miss living in the same town as all of our friends, I miss walking around south of campus. I really miss the food in Provo. I miss the Mountains turning red, and the weather starting to turn. I miss crappy apartment living, because that is a little better than garagement living...haha. Just kidding. I do miss the fun of college life though. As I said above, I wouldn't change my life now for the world! I love my life. I just want to have my cake and eat it too. By the way, where does that phrase come from?? I looked it up in Etymology and couldn't find an answer. If someone could find the answer to that, I would really love it. Anyway, enjoy these pictures of my Alma Mater.

Tish, I always thought "Have your cake and eat it too" was a wierd saying because everytime I eat cake I have it first. So at the urging of your blog and my desire not to be working right now I did some quick research and what I found acutally makes some sense. In a book in 1546 or something like that the author wrote something to the equivalent of "You cannot eat your cake and have it too" which makes a lot more sense for what we use it for. Around 1812 another author wrote wrote the saying we now use "You cannot have your cake and eat it too" which is not as good as the original in my opinion.
